Authorities report that a dispute began between the manager and another employee over disciplinary action. According to the criminal complaint, the manger followed the other employee into a nearby building and shot him.

that the man arrested for the shooting is 23-year-old Zairyre Simmons of Pittsburgh, a manager of a nearby Taco Bell location.

Authorities report that a dispute began between Simmons and another Taco Bell employee, 32-year-old Dorian Carver, over disciplinary action taken against Carver. According to the criminal complaint, Carver then left, and Simmons followed him into a nearby building and shot him. Carver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Simmons turned himself in on Wednesday evening, and is being charged with criminal homicide and firearms violations. According to the criminal complaint, the gun used in the shooting was stolen on Oct. 6. Anyone with information connected to the shooting, and the events leading up to it, is asked to call 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
