Rockhill Capital & Investments has combined with Horizon Capital Partners. Together, the firms command more than $300 million in managed real estate assets.

Two real estate investment firms based in North Texas are joining forces.

Rockhill Capital & Investments, headquartered in Frisco, has combined with Horizon Capital Partners – a process that's been about 12 months in the making., a principal with Rockhill, said the firm is extremely bullish on the market, even with the lull brought on by interest rates, due to the sustained job growth in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Rockhill is looking to the merger with McKinney's Horizon as a means to target a wider range of real estate investments and strengthen development activity. Together, the firms have more than $300 million in managed real estate assets. While Rockhill has historically focused its expertise on residential development – from land acquisition and development to entitlement and infrastructure construction – Horizon’s expertise hinges on the procurement of financing and capital relationships for investment partners interested in more long-term opportunities.

The symbiosis between the teams will allow for Rockhill's folks to hone in on sourcing real estate with the added expertise of Horizon's capital know-how and relationships.
