A few years after announcing plans to expand into Texas, FAT Brands has signed on another franchisee to help it open locations in the Lone Star State.

FAT Brands Inc. — the parent company of Fatburger, Round Table Pizza and other restaurant chains — is again cooking up plans to bring some of its locations to the Austin area. The hunt for real estate is on.that it would bring 25 eateries to major Texas cities like Austin, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. That resulted in multiple locations in North Texas but none so far in Central Texas.

Round Table Pizza and Fatburger alongside Buffalo's Express performed"incredibly well in the Dallas market," solidifying the company’s decision to open more locations in Texas, Wiederhorn said.FAT Brands felt Texas could handle dozens more locations because of its huge size. Its partnership with San Antonio-based Brame Holdings should help it accelerate market penetration on a new front.
