Will you be shopping small this holiday season?

Small Business Saturday in NYC is in full swing, as local business owners invite shoppers to support them this holiday season. Sonia Rincon has the story.About 166 million people plan to shop between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday, the National Retail Federation said.

It's the Super Bowl for mom-and-pop shops and last year, shoppers spent $23 billion on this shopping day.Online shopping took the reins over the last few years, putting a damper on the festivities of Small Business Saturday. "Small business is incredible. any neighborhood that you live in. If you own or even if you rent, it's the backbone of the community. We live in New York City. to walk up and down the street, to shop, to go to a coffee shop... to window shop. Without that, you might as well move to Montana," Something Else owner Doug Grater said.This year, people are feeling the pinch of 40-year high inflation rates.
