The African National Congress (ANC) Gauteng chairperson Panyaza Lesufi says that their picket outside the Constitutional Court is not an attack on the judiciary.

“Are we here to burn down this Constitutional Court? No. Are we here to either attack personally any judge here? No. We are just outside to demonstrate our dissatisfaction and it is there in the Bill of Rights,” says Lesufi. The tripartite alliance partners, the ANC, SACP and COSATU say they are still in the dark about the brutal murder of Hani.“We are not against the judiciary, but we want the truth and the truth is simple, Janusz Walus has not told us what really happened, who was his collaborators,” says Hato.

It should be if they want things done right.

Oh that's okay then - picket away. Thank you, Lesufi, for having enlightened all of us.

But it is 🤪

You are making the same mistake as your predecessor when he picketed for Etolls when he had the power to remove it. To change parole laws, you need to mobilize and engage internally.

Panyanza must not be apologetic about it...

Who is fooling who here ?

Piss off Lesufi.. doos..

Oh i agree - its 'Look at me' Boohoo... I want my mammy

Why don't you picketers including hani's wife kill this guy yourselves? Instead of making noise disrupting attempts of growing economy, all you do is trying to capture judiciary politically

Lesufi what you're doing is a disgrace, when leaders are the ones trying to intimidate the judiciary what are you teaching the rest of society. Sometimes judgments will not favor you but In a constitutional democratic you have to accept that.

Yintoni xa ingeyiyo uChris Hani ubaluleke ngantoni na kunini kwabulawa abantu kungathethwa 💔😭

ANC picketing against their own construction

Kanti what is it if I may ask, I'm confused

Ofcourse it is

it is..

It is definitely

Picketing for the laws they created. If SA had death penalty he could have been hanged. But the laws were amended to suit ANC,

Maybe this is a case of be carefully what you wish for because you might just get it. Part of the struggle 'was equality before the law'

What is it

Going forward if people are not happy with Court judgments, they must go and picket outside

Maybe the judgements pits them against their alliance partner, whom they need desparetly for their upcoming electives conference for continuity purposes, is rather subjective than objective truth be told 🤞.

I am confused...

Where was the president, so that all government's top brass can attack top juries. Talk about a dividend house.

Hey Numb Nuts, if you protest openly against a judgement by a judge, it is an attack on the judiciary. Your incompetent, racist opinion means zero.

Sharing is caring that’s why I thought I should let you know about Deirdremerson I think good work deserves good recommendation, check her out no pressure i blessed the day i invest with your platform i just got another withdraw notification

What is it! Bangozosenz ingane. To protest/picket is to disagree and indeed attack. The question is are you right or wrong in your position vs what you oppose

So they were picketing against who at the Concourt? The statues?

MYANC should have directed the protes to parliament as it is the one vested with powers to make laws. Judiciary is just there to interpret the law. So, yes that march was an attack to the judiciary. Nothing else! Lesufi

If we didn't have democracy we couldn't air our views as government to express our views as what the people actually thinks about the people's government in situations like this

Oh, so it was just a meaningless political rally and photo-op then VoetsekANC

Not an attack on the judiciary? It was a protest against the judiciary. C'mon! Rule of law is only good when it's on our side.

Od course it is ☝️That’s exactly what this action reflects

Completely misdirected protest, courts apply the law. Direct the anger at the law-makers.
