Calgary Chamber of Commerce CEO says the proposed sovereignty act negatively affects Alberta’s image, and will make it harder for Alberta businesses to attract young workers from other parts of Canada.

“It begins the conversation with Ottawa so that they do not continue to pass aggressive policy targeted specifically at our industry and specifically at our development of our natural resources,” Premier Danielle Smith said Tuesday afternoon.

“That is not the way the country is supposed to work. And so we’re helping to educate them and the rest of the country about that.”

They’re wrong, it’ll attract more because we will be a stronger place to build and not at the mercy of Ottawa

Yeldin is the same person that said if restrictions were lifted it would result in reduced revenues for business. WRONG AGAIN. Time for her to go back and spread her BS in The Herald 🤡

Going to be awesome to see these people eat crow! Premier Smith is gaining great support all across Canada.

Ridiculous! CCC CEO needs to educate herself on this act before spouting off!

when the gang piles on you know you are going in the right direction DANNIELE......there be snakes afoot

If Danielle can’t figure this out on her own she shouldn’t be leader of a dog walking company let alone a Province. Since she doesn’t walk into walls daily I assume she’s aware that this will fail as she claims she tried so she can appease her gullible beyond belief base…

Do you think quebecs act negatively affects them nope!!!!

How when Alberta will produce oil and gas and send it to the world ?

NDP in Alberta keeps talking about masks and vacci actions

No it won't

I think it does the opposite lol it's ok when Quebec does it but albertans are assailed for proposing the same thing

Actually it does the exact opposite , now investors can feel that their investment in Alberta can have some protection rights over the federal government implementation of obscene new laws

Canada has Allready Rejected Sovereignty Association and special status in a referendum. UNLIKE Quebec one of 4 Charter members in creating Canada ,Alberta ,Man .and Sask were created by Ottawa and may return to Territorial Status lol😁
