Fuel increases by 59 cents per litre from Tuesday midnight - SABC News - Breaking news, special reports, world, business, sport coverage of all South African current events. Africa's news leader.

The Energy Department has announced that the price of petrol will go up by 59 cents per litre with effect from Tuesday midnight.

A litre of paraffin will now cost 76 cents less bringing some relief to over-stretched consumers.Both grades of petrol decreased by R2.04c per litre while diesel dropped by 60c per litre.

 

At this rate 95 unleaded petrol will be R50/L by the end of 2023.
