This isn’t the first off-season other teams have moved more quickly than the Blue Jays, but each time the Toronto front office has found meaningful upgrades in the end. (bnicholsonsmith)

FILE - Toronto Blue Jays interim manager John Schneider looks on from the dugout during the first inning of a baseball game against the Tampa Bay Rays, Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, in St. Petersburg, Fla.

bnicholsonsmith Giving players shitloads of cash usually means the filling season is a bust.

bnicholsonsmith Seeing what other teams have had to shell out for Free Agents so far, I'm perfectly happy to be patient, wait it out and see what management will do before spring training. It's only December!

bnicholsonsmith on OverDrive1050 ystrday..said they cd replace teoscar by running the bases better..fuck..what a 'ROGER's answer...like hearing their customer service reps spew bs..a..anyone realize we still have no real ss?..no bullpen depth and no 5th starter

bnicholsonsmith Jays are too cheap!

bnicholsonsmith You understand a meaningful upgrade for the SP staff is on Ross Stripling and his 3.0 WAR season, right? I don't think you do bnicholsonsmith

bnicholsonsmith Very disappointing especially for the Jay's they have 2 spots in the starting rotation that need to be filled an outfielder that needs to replace Teoscar if thats even possible and bullpen help if they they expect to even have a chance in 2023.

bnicholsonsmith My god the bar is set low in Toronto. 'LETS GET TO THE WILDCARD ROUND AND BLOW IT BUT CALL IT A SUCCESSFUL SEASON' This is called being cheap. The Jays are owned by a Billion Dollar corporation but are still penny pinching the league's talent pool 🙄🙄🙄

bnicholsonsmith The Frank Gore the front offices. Never going to quite get you there.

bnicholsonsmith Have they? When

bnicholsonsmith Ben, I appreciate your perspective as always

bnicholsonsmith Exactly. A lot of teams did nothing in the winter meetings. That does not mean they can't going forward. The Jays got holes, we know that, they will be addressed.

bnicholsonsmith First home game April 11th next year. Trade deadline a few months after that. No problem. Go Blue Jays.

bnicholsonsmith Maybe they could change things up one year and move first…
