Myers grew up in Canning and went through school in the Annapolis Valley before studying biology and chemistry at Acadia University in Wolfville. She then moved to B.C. for a job opportunity, near where her father lived. During her time in British Columbia, Myers met her husband. Now, she says they both learn to make new products by researching online and watching videos. There is also a lot of trial and error, she says, and sometimes they can learn more from the hilarious mistakes than their successes.During the product development process, Myers also involves her customers as much as possible. If a customer has made a request for a specific product to be made, she gets them to help her test out new recipes.
