Xbox's Phil Spencer has shared his thoughts on Sony's opposition to Microsoft's proposed Activision Blizzard deal.

)."The way they grow is by making Xbox smaller. They have a very different view of the industry than we do. They don’t ship their games day and date on PC, they don't put their games in their subscription when they launch their games.”

Later, Spencer added, “Sony is leading all of the dialogue around why this deal shouldn’t go through to protect their dominant position on console, the thing they grab onto is Call of Duty." Spencer reiterated that the Xbox team has"said over and over, we'll make a multi-year, 10-year commitment to PlayStation," adding,"we made a call to the CEO of Sony the day that the deal was announced, to say that it's our intent to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation.

One other piece of Xbox news that's been in the spotlight lately is the decision to increase the price of major Xbox games."Pricing is always something that we're conscious of and the impact it has on our customers," Spencer said."There's the price of the consoles themselves, the price of the games, the price of the subscription...
