A Binance spokesman confirmed to Bloomberg in an email that Mazars would not be working with them “for the moment.” The Paris-based firm has been leading the crypto industry’s drive to produce proof-of-reserves and has also worked for Crypto.com and Kucoin.Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said Thursday that most major audit firms don’t know how to properly audit a cryptocurrency company, when asked why the company hadn’t produced a full audit, in an interview with CNBC.
