Bay Area travelers will have more nonstop service to two popular global destinations next year from San Francisco International Airport when ITA Airways debuts its first route from SFO and Qantas Airways returns to the airport.

The SFO-to-Rome route is part of United’s broader expansion of service across the Atlantic for its summer 2023 schedule.
