Initial jobless claims declined by 17,000 to 216,000. You can't evaluate the job market by unemployment claims. When you have a GIG economy those folks aren't eligible to unemployment. Part timers can't collect either.

You have become so party over country that you refuse to reign in any of drumpf's insanity, and as you destroy the nation, remember that it was fear and stupidity that drove you to it. Dear Furloughed, The private sector has more job openings than unemployed. Hint, hint. What have you got to lose? The downside is that the private sector cannot afford non-essential employees...you may have to actually work and make a meaningful contribution. Will they be required to re-pay benefits when they receive back-pay later? Not suggesting they 'should', just asking.
