. “Today we sell not only nuts, but also our own brand of coffee roasted by Main-Line Coffee Roasters, teas from around the word, more gummy candies than imaginable, spices galore, and everything between.” According to the same CBS Local Philadelphia article, The Head Nut was one of many other businesses along the main line that were at risk of closing down thanks to Haverford Township’s plans to rezone the area.Fortunately, that wrong ending was not to be The Head Nut’s fate — around 13,000 people signed a petition to put a stop to the rezoning plan. The township conceded, and The Head Nut remains in business.
