Hanover is developing M3 Ranch with the McCaslin family, longtime property owners in the Mansfield area.

Welcome back to “On the Agenda,” the Dallas Business Journal column that scours the city, county and other agendas, minutes, meetings and documents to see how North Texas entities are spending money and otherwise deciding matters of importance to the business community. Tips for “On the Agenda” can be emailed toA little under 500 new homes are heading to the M3 Ranch project in Mansfield, part of the second phase of what will eventually be an over 1,500-home master-planned community.

Phase two will include 491 residential lots and 21 open-space lots. The staff has recommended the second phase for approval. , executive vice president of Dallas-based Hanover Property Co., longtime property owners in the Mansfield area. The family worked with the local landowners to assemble the land for M3 Ranch.

The upcoming phase will include an amenity center with a clubhouse, a lake, a splash pad and large resort-style pool and a large open space for play fields. The second phase is expected to be delivered to builders in Q1 2024. A 16-acre residential project is in the works near Highway 287. The project, located on 1725 East Broad Street and 257 and 261 Carlin Road, will include single-family and multifamily development.
