has officially carried into the new year, and one of the city’s most iconic luxury homes is no exception, having to re-list at a slightly lower price after no buyers bit., the Palace-of-Versailles-inspired mansion first hit the market in March of 2022 with an asking price of $24.5M. After nearly a year without a sale, though, the price has been reduced. Albeit by just $620K, to $23.8M.

Designed by famed Canadian architect Gordon Ridgley, the French-style chateau sits on over three acres in the city’s Bayview Ridge neighbourhood. Offering over 15,000 sq. ft. of living space, the home features six bedrooms, plus a two-bedroom nanny suite, and 10 bathrooms. The palatial property also boasts seven fireplaces, a 4,000-bottle Bordeaux-inspired wine cellar, a ventilated cigar room, and a 12-person sauna. Opulent details, including herringbone hardwood floors, ornate ceilings, and crown mouldings, abound.

A solarium-enclosed pool can be found indoors, while a backyard infinity pool gazes over Rosedale Golf Club. The grounds also include a tennis court and a reflecting pond.
