As Super Bowl XVI in Glendale draws nearer, big party announcements continue to proliferate, and one such event is just for locals.
A day earlier, Rolling Stone magazine will be bringing its usual Super Bowl party to Old Town Scottsdale, adding to several celebrity-studded events that will be coming to Scottsdale to celebrate the big game. Walter Studios is located at the corner of 7th Avenue and Roosevelt Street. The venue describes itself as “an evolving community concept & house of fun.”
“BetMGM will make history this February when we become the first live sportsbook on the Big Game’s stadium campus,” said BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt in a statement. “Entertainment is at the core of BetMGM and we’re going all out with a larger-than-life concert that will be one of the weekend’s marquee events.”
As part of the event, Rolling Stone will be helping to raise funds for its official charity partner, the American Cancer Society, which has been a partner with the NFL since 2009.The Hance Park Super Bowl Watch Party event, which is presented by Verizon, will open at 11 a.m. on Feb. 12 and will include live entertainment with DJ Solomon ahead of the 4:30 kickoff of the game, which will be broadcast live on the Verizon stage.
