More investors are putting greater focus on services inflation and labor-market data as they try to grasp a more complex inflation picture

These days, many are on the hunt for an even narrower measure: a supercore.on Thursday, most investors will still look first at the monthly change in the so-called core consumer-price index, which excludes food and energy categories to provide a better sense of inflation’s longer-term trajectory.
