Martin Luther King Center launches diversity training

As the nation observes the MLK holiday this weekend, the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change is taking the late civil rights leader’s message into the corporate world. The King Center launched a new diversity training program created specifically for businesses.

The Nonviolence 365 Online Workplace Edition includes about three-and-a-half hours of interactive content that participants can move through at their own pace. It also includes instruction from nonviolence practitioners and taps into some of Martin Luther King Jr.’s speeches and teachings. seems to bear that out, as about 88% of workers polled said they strongly or somewhat agree that a sense of belonging leads to higher productivity at work.
