What popular degrees at top SA universities now cost – with some degrees varying by up to R30,000

that simplify the process of determining which institutions are the best, particularly regarding global recognition.

Unsurprisingly, universities that fare best in rankings tend to cost more.

Other degrees also vary widely, however. First-year commerce courses range by as much as R40,000; humanities by R30,000; engineering by R34,000; and law by R26,000.
