Trump and his lawyer fined almost $1 million over 'frivolous' lawsuit targeting Hillary Clinton and others.

The pair were fined for filing a"frivolous" lawsuit against former Secretary of State and 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, as well as 30 other perceived political enemies.

Middlebrooks went on to accuse Trump and Habba of filing the lawsuit in bad faith, for an"improper purpose," and, ultimately, abusing the legal system for political purposes. Trump and Habba, his lead attorney in the case, have been held individually and jointly liable for $937,989.39 in legal sanctions.

It specifically accused Clinton, the Democratic National Committee, former director of the FBI James Comey, and other defendants of pushing a narrative that Trump had colluded with Russia.
