PETALIING JAYA: A total of 14 business premises operated by foreigners around Kenanga Wholesale City have been closed down, says Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

DBKL in a statement on Sunday , said that the city hall through the enforcement department had taken action against premises operated by foreigners around Kenanga Wholesale City, Jalan Kenanga off Jalan Gelugor, Kuala Lumpur on Saturday .

"Through this raid, DBKL carried out a check on 20 foreign assistants or operators of premises and continued to immediately take action to close 14 premises through Sec.101, Local Government Act 1976.
