The star has spoken of how one of her features was used against her

Emmerdale favourite Louise Jameson has discussed the ageism she has faced in the TV industry in recent years.

As reported by our colleagues at The Mirror, Louise said: “For a lot of shows, I do self-tapes for 'old lady'. They don't even give the character a name sometimes.”For a recent role, the team on the unnamed TV production cast her as infirm citing the acting star’s grey hair.
