Cowford Chophouse has been recognized as one of the best steakhouses in Florida, tying for the honor with one of the oldest steakhouses in the state.
“It’s a big deal to be tied to Berns, and I want to thank everyone on my team and staff who got us where we are today,” Klempf said. “People in Jacksonville have really supported us, and we want to just continue being the best steakhouse in the city.” The day-to-day business of keeping Cowford Chophouse operational requires 80 part-time and full-time employees that Klempf said focus on consistency. Even after five years of offering impeccable service, he reminds his staff, “We’re only as good as the last steak we served.”
Keeping those items in stock and properly priced has been a challenge over the past several years, as the restaurant industry battled supply chain issues and the challenges of Covid-19.
Place is good! I loved the service, food, and environment tbh
Bad neighbors to businesses close to them. The quality of food is not as good as to what the price may suggest.
Over priced, average food, crappy service. Never again.
