Residential customers will start saving $15 per month for 100 therms of usage, it said.

“This is good news, with many of our customers still struggling to deal with a variety of economic pressures,” said Dave Johnson, PSE&G’s chief customer officer and vice president of customer care. “We’re pleased to be able to provide this relief and we will continue to help our customers manage energy use and costs.”

It means a cut of $15 a month for customers who use 100 therms per month, or a reduction of $30 per month for those who use 200 therms per month, said the company, which has more than 1.7 million residential customers in the state.
