BTS's SUGA remembers the promise he made to fans 10 years ago about opening a Makchang business

Ten years ago, on January 27, 2013, SUGpromisedto fans through Twitter that he would open a Makchang business. He wrote,"

Ten years from now I will open a Makchang restaurant with the name 'Daegu Makchang.' All the employees will be native speakers of the Gyeongsang-do dialect and all the music in the store will be hip-hop. There, I will be flipping the Makchang, like a sommelier, while bouncing to the 4/4 beat hip-hop. A sommelier is for wine, so I guess I should be gommelier."Then I will be called SUGA, King of Makchang, in Seoul.

These tweets were posted on January 27, 2013, and exactly ten years later, fans began posting SUGA's tweets on Twitter to remind SUGA of his promise. With many fans bringing back SUGA's past tweets, the BTS member responded to his fans through Weverse.I didn't know I'd be doing so well with my main job...Since Makchang King, Min SUGA's main job is still going really well, the business opening will not be possible for now. Thank you." Let's not be overconfident in the future that is uncertain even for the near future.

Fans were moved as SUGA still remembered his promise and were impressed with the reason why he was unable to fulfill it.
