Coal supplies to Eskom is controlled by criminal syndicates, they need to protect their cash inflows at all costs. Always be suspicious of those vehemently opposed to alternative power sources.

I agree why should we go into full renewables right now when we have a source that is coal & we need energy,our country is not equipped now and no one is going to help us transition with there capital ,many countries have now restarted coal mines due to the war in Ukraine
