“With what we’ve seen in terms of inflation, it’s just been a little bit tough for people to do the things that they wish to do,” said the mayor. “With this program available to them, they can upgrade the things they want to immediately and they can slowly pay it back through their property tax bill.”Under CEIP, homeowners can qualify for a loan of up to $50,000 to cover the cost of upgrades.
