YouTube ad revenue was $7.96 billion in Q4, down 7.8% from $8.63 billion a year earlier. Analysts expected YouTube advertising revenue to come in at $8.2 billion for the most recent quarter, per FactSet. Total revenue was pegged at $76.58 billion, with earnings per share of $1.19, according to Refinitiv.

I've all but stopped watching YouTube because the amount of advertising has become excessive. Plus most ads are so loud and obnoxious it's no longer enjoyable to watch the videos. I listen to podcasts instead now.
