The event will be restricted to only leaders this year, not livestreamed to employees.Salesforce leaders will meet for the annual"Company Kickoff" event this week but for the first time in years, it's not going to be a company-wide event, according to internal messages viewed by Insider.
Salesforce Employee Communications and Engagement Senior Vice President Jill Unikel wrote in an internal Slack message to employees Monday that the event will not be livestreamed, as it has been in previous years. Instead, leadership will privately discuss Salesforce's next annual"V2MOM" — and report back to employees.
That decision was controversial among some employees, according to internal messages in a Slack channel called"airing of grievances," as the company is in process of laying off 10% of its workforce through multiple rounds of cuts. TheIn previous years, Salesforce allowed all employees to watch the Company Kickoff livestream, insiders said."It is the company kickoff after all," one person told Insider.
Maybe because journalists are swooping in like vultures on upset employees and leaking sensitive information.
Stupid question: what does rank and file mean?
Why would anyone want to work for this company? Don't demean yourself.
Nobody likes Salesforce
not good
