“We think people are realizing, though, that it’s more than just the quality of life — there’s amazing work being done in our sectors,” said Parry. “We have the talent in the community and now it’s starting to grow, people have to leave the city to grow their businesses.” Parry said the cost of doing business is lower in Calgary than in other Canadian cities and that there is access to capital for business owners to tap into in Calgary.
