A large market Major League Baseball team is taking advantage of the one of the largest sports television audiences of the year in an attempt to boost ticket sales and create a pre-season buzz. New York Mets owner Steve Cohen, who has amassed a $370-million luxury tax payroll for the 2023 season, has laid out another $1 million for a targeted Super Bowl LVII ad buy,

The 30-second spot, features New York Mets players including Brandon Nimmo, Francisco Lindor, Kodai Senga, Tomas Nido and Edwin Diaz posing as telephone ticket agents. Watch the ad here:
