This four-bedroom house has 2,181 square feet of living space in a Calgary suburb where most homes are a bit smaller, averaging 1,400 to 1,900 square feet inside. Its size and location on a pond led to an asking price higher than usual for the area. But two weeks after coming to market last summer, only a single potential buyer had booked a visit.
“This got significantly more than a typical house, but not as much as we thought for the square footage with a basement suite and the size of the yard on a green space,” Mr. Howard said.
“the sellers were quite happy because they had a good increase from the time they bought it in 2010”…wonder if they calculated the interest, taxes, maintenance etc.?
People still bidding and paying more than asking here in Ontario!! 🤦♀️
Same situation in BC.
Maybe if they watered that front lawn it would have had some more curb appeal 😊
Canadian Residential real-estate in major markets = Excessive greed because of politicians and the outdated real-estate game.
Lawyer up folks, the Globe and Mail is complicit.
The Globe and Mail have been lying which leads to harms. Globe and Mail 1/2 the World knows the vaccines are harmful with no upside, what’s your excuse for not knowing? Why push harmful medicine on people? Why? Do you want to harm people?
Bridlecreek? That’s a suburb of the suburbs.
