Right wing CONservatives: We need to stop foreign buyers from buying homes in Canada, they are driving up the price of homes. Also CONservatives: PM Trudeau is causing damage to Canada by not letting foreign buyers buy homes here. They can't make up their minds, anything to hate

Given how many Liberals are lawyers it's inexcusable that these mistakes keep occurring.

Only 3rd world countries do this kind of stuff. Prices are high because of greed and abusive practices by real estate companies. Welcome to the Banana Republic of Canada.

Wasn't this the intent of the legislation? For better or for worse

No, not really.

Who cares

As usual incompetent Liberal Party can't even get this right

This is such BS.

The of unintended consequences at work

Ban them!

A country that bases too much of its economy on real-estate is a weak country economically. Homes are for Canadians not for foreign speculators.

And were all the Absent CCP Canadian homeowner's doing us any good?

Poll: Did the Liberal Government intentionally cause a housing crisis in 🇨🇦? ⚠️ MONEY LAUNDERING ⚠️

Yeah. It's the foreign homebuyer ban. Not the crashing housing market, insane interest rates, un-precented inflation from printing money.
