hatched as a small egg business in 1950 on San Antonio’s South Side, became a fried chicken to-go restaurant in 1953, and now operates 77 locations across Texas. The barbecue and chicken chain turns 70 this month.

Now, 70 years later, Bill Miller Bar-B-Q restaurants have sprung up at 77 locations in all sections of San Antonio. Outside of Bexar County, the chain is present in Boerne, San Marcos, New Braunfels and other Texas cities.
