When Sky News and Tortoise Media launched the Westminster Accounts project at the start of the year, Theresa May was the highest earner - but in just a few months, Boris Johnson has shot to the top of the league table

Wednesday 8 March 2023 19:01, UKBoris Johnson earned 85% of all the outside pay generated by MPs this year, Sky News can reveal.

Some £3.7m of this was earned in just the first six weeks of this year, on top of the basic MP salary of £84,144.

We shouldn't. It's a free market. If people want to pay the asking price for speeches and books then that's fine. What we should care about is that left wing politicians continue getting away with taking payments from foreign agencies. And their media chums cover it up.
