Domestic tourism blooming in Qld; international market slower to take root

Last week, direct AirAsia X flights between the Gold Coast and Kuala Lumpur began, incentivised by the government’s aviation fund.Hinchliffe said there was “no question” that cost-of-living concerns were being factored into tourists’ holiday choices.
