Indigenous Irish firms such as IP Telecom that had faced recruitment difficulties are now attracting talent laid off by major competitors

Staff laid off by tech companies are being snapped up by indigenous Irish companies which have struggled for months to hire staff, the chief executive of IP Telecom has said.

Shena Brien, the IP Telecom co-founder, told the Business Post that the job cuts at the likes of Meta, Salesforce, Indeed and Google have eased her firm’s difficulties in recruiting and retaining workers.
