Alot of factors are responsible, the cost of maintenance of airplanes, the personel required are airlifted from abroad, exchange rate equivalent, cost of living and the standard of economies in Africa. Infact, most countries are yet to have national carriers for local flights.
When you don't have good leaders, that's the result you get from outsiders. African leaders plans are all about money. No plans for future.
