The English entertainer and her late husband Peter Shaw purchased the pad for $925,000 in 1985, and it served as Lansbury’s primary residence for the subsequent nearly four decades,The terracotta-roofed and tiled estate was “the perfect house” for the couple, their daughter, Deirdre Shaw, told the publication.
“It has lots of light, which is what my mom craved,” added Shaw, a professional chef. “It’s light, light and more light.” In her years there, Lansbury left her mark on the abode, added Beverly Hills Estates’ Mick Partridge, the listing and buyer’s agent. “Mrs. Lansbury’s charm still radiates throughout this home,” he told The Post. “Some of her most creative achievements came while living here and it served as her primary residence for over 35 years.
