“British Columbia was the perfect home for the scale and scope of this breathtaking new movie event shot over 99 days,” said a statement from the MPA-Canada. “The motion picture industry is an important economic engine in British Columbia, and productions like Peter Pan & Wendy demonstrate the impact for workers and businesses throughout the province,” said Lana Popham, B.C.’s minister of tourism, arts, culture and sport.
