PacWest leads regional bank rally, Berkshire Hathaway, Dish, AMC and other stocks on the move

Stock gainers:

Other regional bank stocks rose in sympathy. Western Alliance Bancorp.’s stock WAL was up 9%, Comerica Inc. CMA was up 6%, KeyCorp KEY was up 4.3% and Zions Bancorp ZION was up 3.7%. Berkshire Hathaway Inc.’s Class A stock BRK.A was up 1.6% after Warren Buffett’s company said its first-quarter profits soared along with the paper value of its investment portfolio.
