Property management company, Residential Management Group Ltd (RMG), charges tenants a yearly sum to conduct maintenance on the site.

But residents say they are being charged unfairly, as none of the work is being done. Several residents, have even withheld payment but have been threatened with debt collection agencies. Adrian Tacchi, chair of the new residents' association says homeowners on the estate have been handed bills of up to £500 for maintenance services that have not been carried out.

He added that he paid £250,000 for the house five years ago, but was not made aware of the leasehold status of the estate at the time.
