You guys voted for this enjoy your brexit and unemployment 👍🏻😬

When Nissan announced the deal the world was diesel diesel diesel. Thanks to our anti-diesel government the trend is towards electric cars. JLR have the same government induced problem. Of course the truth doesn’t suit scaremongering remainers

They won't be selling many in the uk then. Masive import tax, ouch

People are not going to spend money on a ICE when they are starting to be banned from cities. We are all waiting for an affordable EV with good range and more charging points.

Now let's see how many Remoaners haven't heard of the problems Nissan have been going through recently.

So many CEOs of the motor industry commenting ... 😂😂😂😂

Sunderland lead the vote for Brexit! Well! They got it!

🚗 industry’s problems are worldwide and systemic. Also governments should stop giving it special treatment as it distorts the industrial landscape.

C ar 🚗

In the article the report says information unclear. Why not wait until you know the facts before scaremongering.

So nothing to do with the fact that global demand for cars has dropped sharply over the last year then...

Worrying times for Merkel as Germany's economy falls to its weakest in 5 years and just about dodges recession.

BorisJohnson Nigel_Farage Jacob_Rees_Mogg surly Nissan have got this wrong LBC

Wait for it they will blame brexit

The first manufacturer that makes a car you can get a dog cage, shopping, 3 holdalls, bag of coal, wood and kindling, tow a 500kg trailer is a petrol hibrid at a reasonable price I would seriously look at. Cannot find a replacement for our Volvo V70 D3 Diesel.

Unsurprising looking at 2018 sales

After listening to all the blethering going on in London by Scottish MP's in London who can blame them.

Our economy is growing due to the low rate of the £. At present Japan is being pressurized by their trade deal with the EU. Time will tell but I suspect the demand for their cars and parts from the UK will have an influence in the future.

Bratislava is s new place for various automotive manufacturers but Japanese car!

Let them go!’ The British economy is in a two year high. Italy is in recession and Germany is expected to follow. brexit.

Time for a British manufacturer to stand up and say .. I’ll produce the cars people want , built in Britain 🇬🇧 by British workers

Scaremongering again, this is old news and to be fair they’ve been talking about bringing the X Trail over since 2008, so many never expected it to turn up.

Makes financial sense, why would any business manufacture for a global market in the UK when they can trade for free in the EU and benefit from free international EU trade deals? Plus EU is probably offering financial incentives to set up in EU countries.

Bertothefirst

Intresting

It’s simples , don’t buy Nissan cars anymore ..shite anyway to be fair 👎🏻

You voted for this Sunderland.

Any news on the Paris protests or we keeping quiet on that for another week?

Diesel diesel diesel diesel FFS

Brexit perhaps. Time to stop this nightmare. StopBrexitSaveBritainsJobs

No ones buying cars simple as that, so the cheaper they can make them the less they lose.

Bratislava is the new Detroit, supported by EU grants and cheaper wage costs.

Car manufacturing companies have already left in the past long before Brexit. One reason and one reason only. Who’s cheaper to pay British wages or Slovak and Romanian wages? CHEAPER LABOUR AND COSTS. Simple as that.

Well done Conservatives David_Cameron Jacob_Rees_Mogg BorisJohnson Tally-ho! Shorting opportunity! Call your brokers in Dublin! Quick!

Breaking news. People don't buy new cars anymore due to cars lasting longer. Let's blame brexit

Nissan disinvesting in Britain just like James Dyson. This isn’t scaremongering or project fear. It’s the reality of leaving the EU.

The UK is the top European market for Nissan sales so they probably should aim to keep that....

After more money from the British tax payers since coming to the north east they have had close to £800 million as shown in report on

Any comment CarolineFlintMP … on the reality of Brexit...?.

Another consequence of Brexit am guessing, remember it was The Tories who started all this nonsense.

boycottnissan

Huge French interest in Nissan, they own 44% of Renault. Friends in low places.

Project fear Gammon will be along soon PMSL

What a shame lol some Geordie told me 6 months ago that Nissan has invested 350 million in the plant and they would thrive after Wrexit lol 10% tariff on the cars it’s still cheaper to build in Japan and export tariff free into EU! Why build in U.K. adding another 10% to the £

The hairdressers choice of car

Hopefully this decision has been taken purely based on market conditions and not on the decision to leave the EU. Would be a disaster for the North East if Nissan withdrew from Sunderland.

🤔 mmm didn't see that coming.

Turkeys voted for Christmas! If only someone predicted this would happen

Probably because diesel has been demonised. Be proud to drive diesel!!

Project Fact?

CLICKBAIT BOLLOCKS. IGNORE.

And after Brexit

Despite brexit....
