PUC takes no action on electricity market overhaul in first meeting since top official resigned

said he was absent from Thursday’s meetings for personal reasons. A PUC spokesperson said they didn’t have additional information about his absence.Despite his absence, Jackson and the other three commissioners present – Will McAdams, Lori Cobos and Jim Glotfelty – commended Lake for his leadership over the past two years.

While infrastructure like batteries and transmission lines are being built to support rapidly growing solar and wind energy, he said plants that can be powered up with the flip of switch will be needed for the foreseeable future.
