Xbox Game Studios boss Matt Booty has once again dashed hopes that Xbox will get into the VR business, saying that the market is"not quite there yet."

Despite other companies focusing on and investing in virtual reality, Microsoft is yet to come up with its own technology. Microsoft's head of Xbox Game Studios, Matt Booty, has once again said that the company isn't pursuing VR technology at this time due to the market not being big enough.The Hollywood Reporter

, Matt Booty was asked for his thoughts on virtual reality and augmented reality , following other studios and platforms embracing the technology."I think for us, it’s just a bit of wait until there’s an audience there. We’re very fortunate that we have got these big IPs that have turned into ongoing franchises with big communities," Booty said.
