OPP said a pickup truck was pulling an overlength load, and neither the truck nor its trailers had properly-functioning brakes

DRYDEN, ON — OPP have laid 10 charges under the Highway Traffic Act against a company and the driver of a vehicle registered to it after an incident in the Dryden area.They said Dryden OPP received a complaint about an unsafe vehicle travelling below the posted speed limit and "swerving back and forth down the highway."

Officers subsequently located a pickup truck that was towing two trailers, each of which was mounted with portable bleachers. According to police, the load was over-length, neither the truck nor the trailers had properly-functioning brakes, and the hitch and safety chains were improperly connected.
