The full business case that led to the merger agreements between the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia might not be made public.

On Saturday night the councils of both universities agreed to amalgamate by 2026, although the necessary legislation still needs to pass parliament.

Adelaide University’s Vice Chancellor Peter Joy says the institutions will likely look at producing a summary of the case instead.SA-Best has backed the Greens’ plan for a parliamentary inquiry into the merger.
