European Commission state aid register shows drone delivery company received money in recent fundraising round

The Irish taxpayer, through Enterprise Ireland, has been revealed as a backer of Manna, the drone delivery company founded by Bobby Healy.

Data contained in a European Commission state aid register shows that Enterprise Ireland provided €1 million in backing to the company in December last year. The investment came as part of Manna’s most recent fundraising round, which was backed by Coca-Cola HBC, the giant soft-drinks company. While the precise figure for that fundraise has not been released, Healy previously told the Business Post that the company has raised more than $50 million since its foundation in 2018.
