OneTwenty, a Waterford-based digital sports and iGaming media company, has snapped up Catena Media’s UK and Australian business in a €6 million deal.

The transaction comes just two months after the firm, formerly known as Thimba Media, raised £9.5 million in debt to grow via acquisitions. Speaking to the Business Post, OneTwenty chief executive Chris Russell said the Catena transaction would “enhance its sports publishing position” in both the UK and Australia.
